Earlier today I tutored this huge frat guy in Statistics II for some extra dough and after we finished he began talking politics with me. He told me he’s voting for Mitt Romney because in his words “He’s so rich, he must really know how to make money; I want him to make me money.”

Interesting thought, but I don’t think that’s how it works. People that absurdly rich are out of touch with anyone making less than 20k a year. However, I’m not one to talk politics except with close friends, so I just nodded and said “sounds interesting.”

This whole constantly be aware of coming off condescending thing I’ve been working on has been going swell!
