Possible Album Tracks I've finished

So I don’t really know about this album thing anymore. An album feels more of a permanent thing, and at this current time, I think if I record songs individually when I’m done that, they will be MUCH higher quality and I’ll enjoy it more. I’m really not for the whole “buy all my singles, then buy my album, GIVE ME MONEY” That’s hella lame. I mean, why buy songs twice? Now this would make sense with my two already released songs as I’m rerecording them, but… GAH!

You know, I think I should just record what I have now and then figure out where to go from there. My duet with Sara is incredible and I really enjoy the uniqueness of the song I finished today. Both songs use mostly chords that don’t really have a name, but I just made up.

Whenever I try to create a different song using another progression, I can always hear a song that uses the progression over top of it. Like, I know it’s almost impossible to make a progression no one has used, but I don’t want people saying “this sounds like _____” I want it to be mine.

At the current time, here are the songs I have finished writing. (U) means for uke (G) means for guitar (T) means the title is tentative (H) means it’s halfway finished

Ribbon (G)

Corporate Pizza (G)

So Long as I’ve Got You (U)

Capo Kissin’ (U)

The Limit as x Approaches Girlfriend (U)

If I Had You Back (U) (The iPhone song :P  ) (T)

I’ll Never Know (U) (T) (The duet)

Your Love’s Neglect (U) (T) (Finished Today)

Rollercoaster (U) (T) (H)

I have sent this to my neglected Tumblr followers!

Hey Everyone,

We have spent the past many months in the creative process. We will be releasing a new full-length album on September 6 of this year, and we cannot wait for you to hear it. Until then, we will be releasing one song from the album, “Sixteen”, as well as “Gone”, which is a b-side from…

Racism, Star Fox 64, and Alex Day

Oh boy. This isn’t what you were expecting, but it’s here! If you don’t follow me on twitter then you should be thoroughly confused. Fun Fact: 0 out of 3 black people were offended at my tweet. White teens love competing for a feeling of political correctness (still not racist (stereotypical)). One of the disrespectful little welps (Star Fox 64 quote) blocked me from his YouTube as if that would offend me. People can be funny sometimes. Like how someone so bent on telling me that my observation and opinion is wrong has “I apologize if you’re offended, but this was a personal opinion, don’t complain to me” in the description of one of his videos. Oh kids these days. They say the darndest things don’t they? ;P

The only thing that irks me in the slightest about this whole thing is the same as with other topics: people place others’ opinions in front of the person. Instead of looking at me, they look at me for my opinion. What I find so hypocritical about this is that if they knew the definition of the word “racism” that they’ve been throwing around, then they’d understand what they’re doing is an isomorphism (abstract algebra term). It’s the same thing, different topic. Life’s interesting, ain’t it? Even if Alex Day told me he hated Star Fox 64, I would still watch his videos. I may disagree with that one opinion (STRONGLY), but he’d still be the same guy who inspired me to be a better YouTuber. All in all, thanks to you the reader for being you, and also for being intelligent. Intelligent people are awesome.

Good night!
